THE PACIFIC 2016: LIVE IT TO BELIEVE IT 2

CDMX stands for Ciudad de Mexico. This acronym for Mexico City is already known worldwide.

 

GET IN:

From CANCUN I flew with  >>> VIVA AEROBUS, then take a metro going to the city center, until I reached the Plaza de la Constitucion (The Zocalo), the nearest station in my hotel.

GET AROUND:

By bus, by taxi and of course my favorite mode of transportation - by Metro.

 

But in spite of being a huge city, visitors can visit top attractions on foot, since they are closed to each other in historic city center. Especially in my case, I stayed in a hotel located inside the historic core so I do photo-walk as early at 6 in the morning.

THE PACIFIC 2016: LIVE IT TO BELIEVE IT


CHICHEN ITZA

June 23 to 26, 2016

 

A complex of Mayan ruins located in Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. The El Castillo pyramid or the Temple of Kukulcan dominates the ancient city. 


My fifth (5/7) NEW 7 WONDERS of the world.

GET IN:

There are many ways to get in Cancun, Mexico. I boarded on a plane, AMERICAN AIRLINES, in business class, from PHOENIX ARIZONA. 

Sa unang pagkakataon nakapag-business class din (lol), naka-promo ang pamasahe para sa business class noon.

 

Upon arrival at Cancun Airport, I took an auto-bus going to downtown. I decided to stay a night in Cancun before heading to Chichen Itza. The next day, I took a tourist bus going to Yucatan. It’s easy for me to get on the bus, because my hotel is just behind the bus terminal.

 

GET AROUND:

In Cancun – by bus, by taxi and of course by foot.

In Chichen Itza, complex – by foot. I stayed in a hotel within the complex.
